Blister Packaging-Since our inception, CPI has excelled in the manufacture
of all facets of blister packaging.   We have manufactured everything including
cards, blisters, sealing trays and packaging machinery. We currently either print
here or use one of many outside vendors, depending on need and timeframe.

Blister packaging is perfect for single item, high volume production
(over 10,000 pieces) or where graphics are a premium. Blister packaging typically
saves about 50% over clamshell style and less than ¼ of the tooling.

Many companies have wasted money, by not knowing that a blister card is a
specialty item.  Blister cards use completely different papers, inks and adhesive
than a commercial printer commonly uses or has experience with. Over the years
we have had many firms approach us with cards printed by their local printing
company, that were not made for blister sealing because of lack of knowledge
of the process. Unfortunately, nothing can be done with these cards to make a
blister adhere to them.   

You can avoid this problem and others, by using our experience and expertise
in the design and manufacture of blister cards, blisters and machinery. We will

Skin Packaging – Clearwater packaging is an industry leader in short to
medium run skin board orders.  We have over 20 years of experience with the
skin packaging process including machinery, films, cutting dies and all sizes
and types of boards.

We stock many sizes and thicknesses of skin board in both plain white, and
colored.  We also stock Surlyn® skin packaging film in thicknesses of .005, .0075
and .010 .  Custom printing is available from single color repeating patterns up
to 4 color process printing.  All boards are adhesive coated and then tested by
an on-site skin packaging machine to ensure strong film to paper bond. Please
